Program Description:
Mount Sinai
Rehabilitation Hospital’s Day Treatment Program provides services for people
with brain injury and stroke who are able to live at home, but whose daily lives
can be improved through organized, intensive outpatient therapy. The focus of
the Day Treatment Program is to successfully reintegrate individuals into home,
community, and vocational environments. This is achieved through individual
therapies as well as specialized groups. Patients also participate in community
outings in order to practice and carryover skills they are practicing during
therapy sessions in a functional, real life setting.
