Inpatient Adult Services
Our adult inpatient programs serve people 18 years and older. We provide intensive treatment for those experiencing both acute and chronic behavioral crises. Our Adult Psychiatric Unit treatment programs teach the individual to more effectively cope with disruptive thoughts and feelings through a combination of relational therapy, life management strategies, utilization of social and community support systems, and pharmacotherapy. Our Rapid Inpatient Stabilization Service is designed to provide a brief Inpatient Treatment experience for those patients, who can quickly restore emotional stability and personal safety with highly focused treatment interventions and effective discharge planning. Adults with substance abuse or a combination of mental health and substance abuse problems are provided treatment on a dedicated unit that provides: a safe and comfortable withdrawal, and emotional stabilization through Medically Managed Detoxification; concurrent and post acute detoxification fully integrated psychiatric stabilization and rehabilitation services through our Co-occurring Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders Program; and specialized relapse prevention and recovery management training in our Substance Dependence Rehabilitation Program. Through the successful practice of daily recovery skills and activities that promote self care, patients learn that it is possible to successfully attain, and maintain a program of personal growth and recovery.
