Sexualized Behavior Evaluations and Therapy

Sexualized Behavior Evaluations and Therapy Program

The Sexualized Behavior Program evaluates children between the ages of 3 and 12 who have not made a disclosure of sexual abuse but are exhibiting sexual behaviors that are of concern to parents or other caregivers. The goals of the evaluation are to determine the underlying causes of the problem sexual behaviors and to offer appropriate intervention to address these behaviors. Interventions may include parent education, short-term counseling for the child, or referral to other resources.
