There are more than 100 different types of arthritis affecting some 32.9 million Americans. It is a disease associated with debilitating pain, swelling and inflammation of the joints. The two most common forms of arthritis are Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis.
If the lining of the joint becomes inflamed, you may have rheumatoid arthritis or a variation thereof. If the ‘cushioning’ cartilage in the joint becomes damaged or worn away, you may have osteoarthritis.
