Thirteen hundred guests were on hand at the University of Hartford Sports Center on Saturday, September 18 for the 15th MIRACLES gala held by Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. The black-tie event raised $500,000 for Women's Health Services programs provided by the hospital. The evening's entertainment featured dancing to the music of the Peter Duchin Orchestra. MIRACLES was first held in 1990 to celebrate the just- completed affiliation between Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital. Over the years, the gala has raised more than $6 million for a wide range of clinical and community-based beneficiaries.
