Miracles 2007

Eighteenth Annual Gala

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center hosted MIRACLES XVIII on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The annual black-tie gala was the most successful in the event's history. Through the kindness and generosity of corporate partners, sponsors, and the 1400 guests in attendance, a sold-out MIRACLES raised nearly $900,000 to benefit the community through the critical care and services provided by our Emergency Department.

MIRACLES was first held in 1990 to celebrate the just-completed affiliation between Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital. Over the years, the gala has raised almost $9 million for a wide range of clinical and community-based beneficiaries.

The evening boasted our traditional silent fine auction, including donated wines from private collections, two door prize giveaways (trips to both Ireland and the Caribbean) and dancing to the tunes of the Landerman Society Orchestra and Yellow Brick Road.

A sincere thank you goes out to all volunteers, guests, sponsors, hospital staff and the many others who made this event possible.
